Bus Trip to Wave Hill

Pick up Mar Thoma Church
8:15 a.m.
First stop is Wave Hill, built in 1843, with spectacular views over the Hudson River, Wave Hill offers 28 acres of beautiful gardens & the Glyndor House offers Horticultural exhibits.
Lunch will be at Mario’s. Lunch selections will be made at registration choices are as follows:
Chicken Francaise
Veal Cutlet Parmigiana
Filet of Sole Scampi
You will then have free time on Arthur Ave.
Last stop is Woodlawn Cemetery (walking and bus tour) which was built during the 3rd year of the Civil War, this unique cemetery is considered to be an Oasis of Art, History, Ecology and a “Hall of Fame”, including the graves of George M. Cohan, Duke Ellington, Elizabeth Cady Stanton to name a few. A fascinating tour.

$74.00-Registration begins March 26 for Merrick residents and 1 guest. Checks only payable to the Merrick Library. If space allows non-residents may sign up beginning April 9- Space is limited.
